Cong chargesheet against govt to be more comprehensive

PCC chief directs district presidents to submit detailed reports on unfulfilled promises of BJP govt

The Uttarakhand Congress has decided to make the chargesheet it is preparing for highlighting failures of the state BJP government more exhaustive. The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh has directed all the presidents of the district units to enlist major problems faced by the people in their areas and the action taken by the government and prepare a report. The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress, Suryakant Dhasmana told media persons at Rajiv Bhawan here on Monday that all the district presidents have also been asked to send a report on the promises made by the BJP to the electorate in the year 2017 and the action taken by the government on these promises in last four years. He informed that apart from the issues concerning the state, the chargesheet would give priority to the constituency wise and district wise issues of public interest.

To highlight the failures of the BJP government of the state the Uttarakhand Congress has decided to release a chargesheet on the fourth anniversary of the government.

 For this the party has constituted a 13 member chargesheet committee comprising of former minister Navprabhat, deputy leader of party in assembly Karan Mahra, former minister Surendra Singh Negi, former MLA Ambrish Kumar, former MLA Manoj Tiwari, SP Singh Engineer, Vice President Jot Singh Bisht, Mohammad Akram, Professor Balwant Singh and state general secretary Anand Singh Rawat.
