The Uttarakhand Congress has demanded that the State government should investigate the actions of the national general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Tejinder Pall Singh Bagga for his involvement in shady land deals. Interacting with the media persons at the headquarters of the State Congress Garima Dassuni said on Saturday that Bagga owns a company ‘BA PropertyWala’ which deals in sale and purchase of property. Showing proof Dasauni said that Bagga who is the incharge of Uttarakhand unit of BJVM and spokesperson of Delhi BJP always retweets the tweets of the company and claimed that Bagga is one of the founders of the company. She said that recently the BA Property Wala has uploaded a video on Twitter in which the company is claiming that it is launching a project soon in which 18 cottages would be constructed. She said that the project site is said to be in the Jim Corbett national park. Dasauni said that the company is selling 2 BHK cottages with an area of 1800 square feet at Rs 68 Lakh each. “The State government should investigate where and how this project is coming up,’’ she questioned.
Dasauni said that the State needs a strong land law on the lines of Himachal Pradesh. She said that Uttarakhand had a land law but the BJP government headed by Trivendra Singh Rawat removed the restrictions and opened the gates for outsiders to purchase land in the State. She said that the assets acquired by Bagga should be investigated.
