The Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesman and Uttarakhand assembly election co in-charge RP Singh said that the recent assault on Yashpal Arya is a result of factionalism in the Congress party. Addressing media persons in Haldwani, Singh said that both the sides involved are Congress members and that action should be taken against both. He said that this incident clearly shows the real situation in the assembly constituency of the politician who calls himself a big leader.
The BJP national spokesman further said that the development schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dehradun on Saturday will definitely benefit the state of Uttarakhand. The people of the state will surely vote for the BJP to elect it with a resounding majority in the coming assembly elections, he averred.
