The leaders of Congress party paid glowing tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries on Monday.
Giving floral tributes to the leaders, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara said that everyone should walk on the path created by them. He said Gandhi gave the mantra of do or die on August 8, 1942 and said that independence is not for cowards.
The party’s State vice president Mathura Dutt Joshi, former MP Pradeep Tamta, media in charge PK Agarwal, chief spokesperson Garima Dasauni and others also paid homage to Gandhi and Shastri on the occasion.
