The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni has sought an immediate and unconditional apology from the State BJP spokesperson Vinod Suyal for his statement on the Kedarnath disaster. The BJP leader had allegedly said that Lord Kedarnath didn’t want the sinners of Congress party to get the privilege of his darshan so the disaster struck the area. Taking strong exception to this statement, Dasauni said that he should publicly apologise for the utterly insensitive statement.
She said that Congressmen are not sinners but those people belonging to BJP who were involved in theft of gold in Kedarnath are the sinners.
“The sinners are those who gobbled up donation from people by using QR code, the sinners are those who insulted Kedarnath Dham by participating in foundation stone laying ceremony of Kedarnath Dham in Delhi and those who constituted the Devasthanam board,’’ she said.
The BJP spokespersons are stooping down to lowest levels and now the people of Uttarakhand and Baba Kedar will punish them, she added.
