Buoyed by the success of the protest in Haridwar the Uttarakhand Congress has now decided to hold protests in all district headquarters on June 27 on the issue of Covid test scam in Kumbh.
The Vice President of Uttarakhand Congress Surya Kant Dhasmana said that the party would expose the state government on the issue. He said that from day one the party is demanding that a probe headed by a sitting judge of the High Court should be ordered in the scam because the owners of the company involved in the scam are close to powerful members of the ruling party.
Dhasmana claimed that the state government is trying to hush-up the issue but the Congress would not allow this and start a massive agitation. He said that in a phased manner the agitation would be held in all Vidhan Sabhas and block headquarters.
