Launches ‘Uttarakhand ki Awaaz’ campaign
In an attempt to get the views of the general public on various issues and get their inputs included in its election manifesto, the Congress party launched ‘Uttarakhand ki Awaaz’ campaign on Friday. The in charge of the Uttarakhand Congress Devendra Yadav, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal, leader of the opposition in the state assembly Pritam Singh, the head of social media cell of Congress party Rohan Gupta and other leaders of the party launched the campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, Devendra Yadav said that the suggestions of the people would be part of the election manifesto of the Congress party. He said that the manifesto committee led by senior leader Nav Prabhat has already met a large number of people and workers and compiled their suggestions. He said that the party would also come out with a time bound plan on the promises made by it in the election manifesto. Yadav. The PCC President Godiyal said that the manifesto would be extensive and represent the aspirations of every one. He appealed that Congress party workers and the general public should come out with their ideas and suggestions. In charge of the social media of Congress party Rohan Gupta said that the party wants that manifesto to be a commitment document.
