Cong playing politics, Govt facilitating safe return of Indians from Ukraine- BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party has stated that it is unfortunate that the Congress is not desisting from playing politics even on a sensitive issue like the evacuation of Indians from war-afflicted Ukraine. Responding to the statements made by former chief minister and Congress leader Harish Rawat, the BJP state vice president Devendra Bhasin said that the Congress should desist from playing politics on such a sensitive issue. He said, “The Government of India had issued advisories for Indians in Ukraine well before that nation was invaded. Even after the invasion began, the operation put in place by the Indian government to evacuate its citizens safely is being appreciated not only by Indians but also by others.”

The Central and State governments are committed to ensuring the safe return of Indians from Ukraine, he added.
