Cong to corner govt on many issues in budget session
The Uttarakhand Congress has decided to corner the state government on many issues during the budget session of Uttarakhand assembly. Senior Congress leader Govind Singh Kunjwal told media persons outside the assembly on Monday that the state government has failed on every front.
He said that though the state government has declared Gairsain the summer capital, the government has no intention to develop it. He said that the government should operate for at least six months from Gairsain. The deputy leader of Congress legislature party, Karan Mahra said that the Congress would raise the issue of district development authorities, atrocities on women, failure to tackle pandemic and other issues during the session. He said that though the chief minister is holding about 55 portfolios, the house rarely functions on Mondays when the CM is slated to answer the questions.
