BJP engaging in polarisation politics as it does not have any deliverables on development front – Dubey
Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party of having links the terrorists the Congress party has said that the ruling party is dividing the country on religious lines. Addressing the media persons here at Rajiv Bhawan on Saturday the All India Congress Committee (AICC) spokesman Abhay Dubey levelled serious allegations on the ruling BJP and asked many questions over its links with the terrorists.
He said that it has happened for the first time in the history of the country that serious allegations of giving membership of the party and giving tickets in elections to the persons involved in terrorists activities have been levelled on any political party.
He questioned that is Riyaz Attari, the accused in murder of Kanahiya Lal in Udaipur is a member of BJP. Dubey said that there are pictures of Attari with the leader of opposition (LoP) in Rajasthan Assembly and other BJP leaders and the BJP and home minister Amit Shah should answer about the relationship the party has with Attari. The Congress spokesperson said that media reports suggest that the mastermind of Umesh Kolhe murder in Amarawati district of Maharashtra is close to independent MP Navneet Rana and her husband. He said that the proximity of Rana couple with BJP is well known. Dubey said that the BJP should also answer if the Lashkar terrorist Talib Hussain apprehended by the villagers in Jammu and Kashmir is a worker of BJP. He said that Talib is seen in pictures with union home minister Amit Shah and other leaders of BJP.
The Congress leader claimed that the BJP has a history of such dubious relations in the past as well. He said that in the year 2017, BJP leader of Assam Niranjan Hozai was given life imprisonment for funding terrorists and one of the 11 persons suspected to be the ISI agents arrested by Madhya Pradesh ATS in the 2017 for operating an illegal telephone exchange was a member of IT cell of BJP. Continuing his attack on the BJP, the Congress spokesman said that the BJP gave its ticket to a terrorist Mohammed Farooq Khan, a protégé of Masood Azhar from ward number 33 in Srinagar.
Dubey said that the BJP is only talking about polarisation as it does not have results and deliverables. He said that the party has nothing to show on the development front. Dubey accused that the BJP is providing patronage to terrorists by doning the mask of nationalism.
The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Mathura Dutt Joshi, Rajiv Mehrishi, Garima Dasauni and others also accompanied Dubey.
