Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed an election rally in support of his Haryana counterpart Nayab Singh Saini at Ram Charan Majra in Ladwa on Tuesday.  The CM also participated in election meetings at Kalanaur and Rohtak on the day in support of the BJP candidates.  Voting for 90 member Haryana Vidhan Sabha will be held on October 5.

In these meetings the CM exhorted the people to vote for the BJP candidates and elect the BJP government for the third consecutive time.

He said that the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken many historic decisions and Haryana has progressed under BJP rule.

He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, the BJP gives guarantees of development, prosperity and transparency in governance to the people of Haryana. On the other hand the Congress wants to push Haryana back into the mire of corruption and nepotism. Terming the Congress party as the mother of corruption, the CM said that its leaders have only engaged in filling their coffers. The Hooda government was only engaged in welfare of son in-law ( damad) and not of the general public and during the Congress government the three Ds- Darbari (courtiers), Damad and Dealer – held sway, he said.

Continuing his diatribe on the Congress, the CM said that the Congress party has deceived the martyrs also.  He said that the Hooda government had demolished the memorials of the Kargil martyrs and the party opposes the armed forces of the country. Dhami said that the Congress party had raised questions on the surgical strikes and it can embrace terrorists also for votes, He warned that giving another chance to Congress means blocking the path of development.
