Congress leaders hail Karnataka win

Senior leaders of the Congress have expressed happiness on the victory of the party in the Karnataka elections. Former chief minister and member of Congress Working Committee (CWC), Harish Rawat said, “The shop of hatred is now closed in Karnataka and shop of love has opened there.” He said that the Karnataka results are a good omen for the Lok Sabha elections of 2024. The leader of opposition (LoP) in the State Assembly, Yashpal Arya said that the people of Karnataka have given a mandate against the negative, communal and politics of hatred of the ruling BJP. He said that victory of Karnataka is the victory of democracy and truth. The former Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh also congratulated the top leadership of the Congress party, local leaders, workers and people of Karnataka for the victory.
The Prtapnagar MLA Vikram Singh Negi said that victory of Congress in Karnataka is historic. He said that the coming on the heels of victory in Himachal Pradesh, the Karnataka election win has enthused the workers of the Congress party. The media in charge of State Congress Rajiv Mehrishi said that it was wrong to put Lord Bajrang Bali at par with an organisation and the people of Karnataka have rejected it and the BJP.
