The Bharatiya Janata Party has stated the Congress is mocking the constitution and the judicial process in the case pertaining to Rahul Gandhi.
The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that party had clarified earlier that the BJP has no role in Rahul Gandhi losing his Lok Sabha membership as it was a matter between the complainant and Gandhi on which the court took a decision as per the law. Regarding the all-party meeting, he said that the Congress is habituated to blaming the BJP for all its mistakes.
“This case was in the court for three years and the Congress was also aware of the repercussions. He had to face disqualification as part of the constitutional process following his conviction in the defamation case but the Congress is unable to let down its arrogance,” said Chauhan.
