Congress recites Hanuman Chalisa across U’khand

The Congress workers held recitals of Hanuman Chalisa in all the district and block headquarters of the State on Friday. In Dehradun, the Congress leaders and workers assembled at the State headquarters of the Congress party where they recited the Hanuman Chalisa. The Congress workers also held a Buddhi Shuddi Yagya supposedly for good sense to prevail on the BJP government. The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, vice president Surya Kant Dhasmana, Mahanagar president Jaswinder Singh Gogi, Congress spokesperson Garima Dasauni and other leaders offers prayers to a picture of Hanuman and participated in recital of Hanuman Chalisa.
Talking to the media persons the PCC president said that the Congress party does not need any certificate from the BJP. He said that those who were involved in murder of MK Gandhi and opposed the Quit India movement are today posing as the protectors of the Sanatan Dharma. On the accusation of the BJP that by performing Budhi Sudhi Yagya, the Congress is trying to masquerade as ardent followers of Sanatan Dharma, Mahara said that BJP has no copyright on Sanatan Dharma and every citizen of the country is free to profess and practice his religion.
On the protest of Bajrang Dal at Congress office on Thursday, he said that the Bajrang Dal workers were absent when the protests were going on in the Ankita Bhandari murder case and they played no role in striving for justice for Kiran Negi. He said that the Bajrang Dal was missing when the youngsters were brutally lathicharged in Dehradun. He added that there is gross mismanagement at Badrinath and Kedarnath but the so called flag bearers of Hinduism are not visible anywhere to help the pilgrims.
