The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara has said that the morale of the party workers is very high and the party candidates will win all the five Lok Sabha seats in the State with a big margin. The PCC president welcomed the former PCC president and Garhwal LS candidate Ganesh Godiyal and Tehri LS candidate Jot Singh Gunsola at the party office on Wednesday. He said that Godiyal is a very senior, popular and active leader of the party and has a strong presence in Garhwal. He expressed confidence that Godiyal will win the seat with a record margin. Mahara said that Gunsola is a very senior leader of the party and is very experienced. He added that Pradeep Tamta, the party candidate from Almora LS seat is a very popular leader who had represented the seat in Lok Sabha in the year 2009.
Speaking on the occasion Godiyal said that he is grateful to the party leadership for reposing faith in him. Gunsola also said that he will try his best to fulfil the responsibility the party has bestowed upon him.
