Taking a dig at the deliberations held between Congress leaders and the observer sent by its high command, the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said that the Congress is in the news more for its factionalism than for serving the public. The people are wondering how the party which was claiming to defeat hatred is now focusing on placating its factions, he said.
In an informal interaction with the media Bhatt said, “These very people were raising slogans of Bharat Jodo and approaching the public but the situation is such that they are unable to resolve their own internal squabbles. The people are understanding the real face of the Congress.”
He said that factionalism is bound to happen in a party which is without principles and thought but the infighting of Congress leaders in the open affects the public image of political parties. The Congress is totally inactive from the social and political perspectives. It is rarely discussed for its works but remains in the news for its factionalism, said the BJP State president.
