Police arrested the Congress workers who were staging a protest during the visit of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday.
The CM was in the city to inaugurate Ejja-Baini Mahotsav. He also inaugurated development projects worth crores of rupees on the occasion. The workers of the Congress party led by State vice president of Youth Congress Hemant Sahu were arrested when they tried to hold a protest. Sahu said that the CM is only engaging in making announcements. He said all the roads of the State are replete with potholes and the health services of the State are in pathetic condition.
The health cards of the Ayushman scheme have become mere showpieces. He said that unemployment is increasing and in the name of anti encroachment drive the livelihood of the people is being shattered.
