Congressmen enthusiastically participating in Bharat Jodo Yatras

A massive 75 meter long Tricolour was cynosure of all eyes during the Bharat Jodo Tiranga Yatra of Congress party in Jaspur assembly constituency on Friday. The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Uttarakhand assembly Yashpal Arya, Jaspur MLA Adesh Chauhan, senior leader Ranjeet Singh Rawat and a large number of Congress leaders and workers attended the Yatra. Speaking on the occasion, PCC president Mahara said that the Bharat Jodo Tiranga Yatra is getting a massive response from people in Uttarakhand. He said that the Congress party has succeeded in making the BJP and its maternal organisation RSS respect the national flag. He said that the Tiranga Yatra of Congress party has made the BJP stand behind the national flag and Mahatma Gandhi. He said that the national flag was not hoisted on the RSS headquarters for 51 years and when three youngsters tried to do so, they had to face legal proceedings. He appealed to the Congress workers to unite and bring the failures of the government to fore.

 Former PCC president Pritam Singh participated in the Bharat Jodo Tiranga Yatra of the party in Roorkee on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that the BJP is trying to disturb the communal harmony in the country and the government is working against the constitution. He said that in such tough circumstances the Congress President Sonia Gandhi has made an appeal to the Congressmen to take out Bharat Jodo Yatra and it is receiving tremendous response in all parts of the country. Launching an attack on BJP, Singh said that those who had not participated in the freedom struggle are now distributing certificates of patriotism. He said that unemployment is all time high, the prices are spiraling out of control and the economy of the country is in shambles. Singh exhorted the Congress workers to continue their struggle till the BJP is dethroned from power.
