The Congress now moving towards Sanatan Dharma is an achievement of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Stating this, the BJP State president Madan Kaushik said that in the past, the Congress had an anti-Hindu image due to issues like calling lord Ram fictitious and declaring a holiday on Fridays however recently, the Congress leaders went to offer water to lord Shiva when Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid obeisance to the lord in Kedarnath. This transformation was made possible by the BJP, he said.
Kaushik said, “The Congress is struggling to get out of its current situation without success as it is too late.Considering itself out of contention before the elections, the Congress is now acting desperately. As far as going door to door to expose the BJP is concerned, nobody had stopped the Congress from doing so in the past five years. Sitting in the opposition for five years, the Congress has suddenly become active and started remembering public issues.
It is a seasonal party which was never active on issues and problems of the public.” Referring to Congress raising price rise ahead of PM Modi’s visit, Kaushik said that the price rise in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Punjab should also be cited. The people should be informed about the rates of petrol, diesel and food items in these states. The BJP will release a chart to show what it has done to provide relief to the people. On the issue of holding an assembly session in Gairsain, he said that in his knowledge, the government had sought the opinion of all parties.
