Terming the proposed Kedarnath Bachao Yatra of Uttarakhand Congress as politically motivated, the president of State unit of BJP Mahendra Bhatt has said that the Congress party is spreading lies and confusion in the public. He said that no one has the courage to undermine the revered Dhams. Bhatt said that Yatra of the Congress is part of the conspiracy of the Congress party to spread confusion in order to get political mileage in the upcoming by-election of the Kedarnath assembly. He said that the people of the State and Kedar valley are aware of the anti- Sanatan face of the Congress party and will snatch their mask of Hindutva soon. Bhatt said that Congress is unable to digest the success of the Char Dham Yatra and increasing prosperity of the local shopkeepers so it is planning to disrupt the Yatra.
He said that the trust constructing the Kedarnath temple in Buradi have decided to the change the name of the temple and on the assurance of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Teerth Purohits have suspended their agitation but the Congress party is continuing to engage in politics on the issue.
Bhatt added that the only objective of the proposed Yatra of Congress is to influence the by-election and it is very unfortunate that the party is trying to make the Dham of Lord Shiva as an election issue.
He claimed that the people will expose the hypocrisy of the Congress party on the issue.
