In latest news from Doon, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the people of the State on the occasion of the Constitution Day while calling it the soul of India, a sublime protector of the aspirations, rights and respect of every citizen. While gratefully remembering the architect of the Constitution, B R Ambedkar, he said that it had helped India rise to a place of global respectability. He further said that Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties go hand in hand and duty divorced from right was not what was intended. He also exhorted all to strive towards materialising the vision of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
