Construction works for holding 38th National Games in U’Khand over: Arya

The Sports minister Rekha Arya said that the construction works for the 38th National Games, which will be held this year in Uttarakhand have been completed. She made this announcement during the inauguration of various projects at the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna stadium in Almora on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event, Arya expressed pride in hosting the 38th National Games in the State this year. She assured that the Sports department is dedicated to making the National Games a memorable and successful event. Additionally, she informed that the stadium will now be operational for night practice, allowing players to enhance their skills and performance. Arya also highlighted that following the directions of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami the improvement work in the stadium will not only benefit the players but also the local children. She said that the government is working consistently to develop the sports infrastructure in the region. The State government is working for sports and the players. To promote the players, the State government has made various arrangements, including the Udyaman Yojana, Mukhyamnatri Protsahan Yojana, out-of-turn jobs, government jobs for national and international medal-winners and the sports development fund, she added.
