Covid-19 : 11 new cases, 16 recoveries reported in State on Monday

Eleven new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the State on Monday taking the total number of active cases to 156. Similarly, 16 Covid patients recovered from the disease on the day with the recovery percentage standing at 96.02.
The total cumulative positive Covid-19 cases detected in the state is 3,43,832 of which 3,30,137 have recovered. According to information provided by the health department, of the positive cases detected on Monday three each are from Almora, Dehradun and Haridwar districts while two were from Nainital district. When it comes to the number of active cases there are 104 in Dehradun district, 17 in Nainital, 10 in Haridwar, nine in Pithoragarh, two each in Udham Singh Nagar, Chamoli and Pauri, three in Chamoli, six in Almora and one in Rudraprayag. Among those who were cured on Monday, three cases each were from Nainital and Pithoragarh, two each were from Chamoli, Dehradun, Pauri and Rudraprayag while one each were from Udham Singh Nagar and Almora districts.
Meanwhile, 1,030 vaccination sessions were held across the state on Monday with 39,476 persons being vaccinated during the day. The number of beneficiaries fully vaccinated is 3,674,409 while 7,456,731 have been partially vaccinated till date in the state. Further, 4,477,184 beneficiaries in the 18-44 years age group have been partially vaccinated and 1,577,526 in the same age group have been fully vaccinated.
