Covid-19 cases increasing in Uttarakhand

21 new cases of the diseases reported in Dehradun in 24 hours
Following the trend of other parts of the country, the numbers of cases of Covid-19 are also increasing in Uttarakhand. On Saturday the State health department reported 24 new cases of the disease. In the last two days, 37 new cases of the disease have been reported from different parts of the State. In the last twenty four hours the authorities reported 21 cases of the disease from Dehradun district only. Similarly two new cases of Covid-19 were reported from Nainital and one from Pauri on Saturday.
The authorities also declared nine patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 104869 new cases of the disease from January 1, 2022 till date. A total of 1,00,658 patients have recovered from the disease so far. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96 per cent on Saturday. A total of 337 patients have lost their lives from the disease from January 1 last year in the state. The State now has 37 active patients of Covid-19. Dehradun has 26 active cases of the disease while three active cases each are there in Nainital and Pauri district. Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi have one active case of the disease each.
