The State Health department reported the death of one patient from the Covid 19 in the State on Thursday. This patient died at the Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital. The department reported five new cases of the disease on the day from the State. Incidentally all these cases are from the provisional State capital Dehradun.
The authorities also declared six patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 1,04632 new cases of the disease from January 1, 2022 till date. A total of 1,00462 patients have recovered from the disease so far. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.01 per cent on Thursday. A total of 335 patients have lost their lives to the disease since January 1 last year in the state.
There are 33 active patients of Covid- 19 in the state now. Dehradun with 22 cases is at the top of the table of active cases in the state while Haridwar has five active cases of the disease now.
