Covid-19: Recovery percent climbs to 91.45 % in U’khand
Three deaths, 429 fresh cases and 440 recoveries reported on Tuesday
The recovery percent from the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Uttarakhand increased to 91.45 on Tuesday as the state health department declared 440 patients cured from the disease after their recovery. A total of 62995 out of 68887 patients of the disease have so far recovered from the disease in the state. On the day, the health department reported 429 fresh cases of the disease in the state. Three patients of the disease were reported dead in the state on Tuesday. A total of 1119 patients have so far succumbed to the disease in the state.
A 69 year old patient of Covid-19 was reported dead at Himalayan hospital Dehradun on Tuesday. Similarly a 75 year old patient died at HNB base hospital Srinagar and a 28 year old female succumbed to the disease at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh on the day.
The authorities reported 142 fresh cases of the disease from Dehradun, 52 from Nainital, 36 from Rudraprayag, 35 from Pithoragarh, 31 from Uttarkashi, 23 from Pauri Garhwal, 22 from Almora, 19 from Udham Singh Nagar, 18 from Haridwar, 17 from Chamoli, 14 from Bageshwar and 12 from Tehri on Tuesday.
Out of the 440 patients declared cured from the disease on Tuesday, 92 were from Dehradun, 57 from Pauri, 54 from Pithoragarh, 47 from Haridwar, 43 from Almora, 41 from Nainital, 39 from Udham Singh Nagar, 34 from Chamoli, 22 from Rudraprayag and 11 from Tehri.
Uttarakhand now has 4165 active patients of the disease. Dehradun district with 1038 active cases is at top of table while with 472 active cases Haridwar is now on second position. Pauri has 455, Nainital 322, Chamoli 304, Udham Singh Nagar 303, Tehri 247, Almora 210, Pithoragarh 200, Rudraprayag 196, Uttarkashi 160 and Bageshwar 154 active cases of the disease. With 104 active cases of Covid-19, Champawat is now at the bottom of the table.
