Covid-19 -Tally increases to 97529 in U’khand
49 new patients of the disease reported on Tuesday
The tally of novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) patients in Uttarakhand mounted to 97529 on Tuesday with the state health department reporting 49 new cases of the disease. The authorities discharged 98 patients of the disease from different hospitals on Tuesday following their recovery from the disease. A total of 93813 patients have so far recovered from the disease in the state. The recovery percentage from the disease now stands at 96.19 and the sample positivity rate is 3.92 percent.
No patient of the disease was reported dead by the health department on the day. A total of 1695 people have so far reported dead in the state.
The health department reported 24 new patients of the disease in Dehradun district on the day. In Haridwar eight patients were reported while seven from Udham Singh Nagar, five from Nainital, three from Pauri and one each from Almora and Champawat were reported on Tuesday. No new patients were reported from Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Tehri and Uttarkashi districts on the day. The state now has 611 active patients of Covid-19 with Nainital at top with 180 cases. Meanwhile 21438 people were vaccinated in 245 sessions on Tuesday. A total of 66354 people have so far fully vaccinated in the state.
