The 3,005 Covid cases reported in Uttarakhand on Thursday with a positivity rate of 10.91 per cent was the highest number in about seven months. According to Anoop Nautiyal of Social Development for Communities (SDC) Foundation, the earlier highest total was on May 23, 2021 with 3,050 cases and a positivity rate of 7.42 per cent. The pandemic has spread in the four plain districts with 1,200 plus cases reported in Dehradun and Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar reporting cases in the range of 400.
