The alleged creator of the ‘Sulli Deals’ app, Aumkareshwar Thakur was arrested by the Delhi Police in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The app similar to the ‘Bulli Bai’ app targeted Muslim women by putting up their pictures online for auction/sale. The accused was a member of the Trad-Group on Twitter made to troll Muslim women. This is the first arrest in the ‘Sulli Deals’ app. Both the ‘Sulli Deals’ app and ‘Bulli Bai’ app used the hosting platform ‘GitHub’ to auction the photos. On the other hand, the alleged creator of the ‘Bulli Bai’ app Niraj Bishnoi was also been arrested by the Delhi police.
