By routing England by an innings and 64 runs in the final match of the five-match series played in picturesque Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh, the host India won the series 4-1. India’s lethal bowling vanquished England’s batting line as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Ravichandran Ashwin with his crushing five-wicket haul in his 100th test helped India clinch an almost effortless victory in an one-sided game as the England batters crumbled with suicidal impatience showing itself in them. The five-day match ended on the third day, signifying India’s supremacy in every part of the game.
