The State’s chief secretary Radha Raturi inaugurated the new premises of Uttarakhand Gramin Bank‘s Dehradun Main Branch, near MKP College on Friday. Notably, the women staffer run this branch. Raturi appreciated the bank’s efforts to enhance customer convenience and commended the display of products promoted by self-help groups in the present premises.
The chairman, of the bank Hari Har Patnaik informed that UGB operates 292 branches and 624 customer service centres across Uttarakhand, serving over 20 lakh customers, including 10 lakh women. The Dehradun branch, established in 1985, has been relocated to provide enhanced facilities.
