Chief secretary Radha Raturi reviewed the preparations of the State administration for the forthcoming visit of President Droupadi Murmu at the State secretariat on Tuesday. The President is scheduled to visit Uttarakhand on April 23 and 24.
In the meeting, the CS directed the department concerned to make all the necessary preparations for the visit of the President. She directed that all the arrangements such as security, traffic plan, transport and health should be completed on time.
On a terse note Raturi directed that fool proof arrangements should be ensured in all the programmes of the President in the State. In the meeting the home department gave a detailed presentation on the visit of the President.
The meeting was attended by the secretaries R Meenakshi Sundaram, Dilip Jawalkar, Sachin Kurve and officers of different departments. The district magistrates and Senior Superintendents of Police of Pauri and Tehri attended the meeting in virtual mode.
