The chief secretary of Uttarakhand S S Sandhu visited the under construction Uttarakhand Niwas in New Delhi on Monday and inspected its progress.
He said that the proposed building should reflect the state and its culture. He directed the work execution agency, the Uttarakhand Peyjal Nigam to adhere to quality and complete the construction in time.
Sandhu suggested that the parking area should be more spacious. He also reviewed the renovation work of the Uttarakhand Niwas and gave necessary instructions to the officers of the Public Works Department (PWD).
The resident commission VVRC Purushottam, additional secretary estates Pratap Shah and others were present on the occasion.
