Shahanshah Mohammad Dilbar Danish has been appointed as the new secretary of Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha. An officer of higher judicial services, Danish, took charge of the new office on Wednesday. He will also hold the responsibility of secretary legal and parliamentary affairs. The appointment of Danish has ended a period of ad- hocism on the top administrative post of the assembly secretariat.
The post of the secretary Vidhan Sabha was vacant ever since the Speaker Ritu Khanduri suspended Mukesh Singhal in September last year. After that the deputy secretary Hem Pant was officiating as the Secretary Vidhan Sabha.
