In view of the problems faced by the students due to heavy rain in the mountainous region and in other States, the DAV (PG) College has extended the date of registration on the basis of merit for the first year to September 24.
The college principal KR Jain informed that earlier, many seats for under-graduate courses remained vacant due to less awareness about the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Considering this, the HNB Garhwal Central University issued an order to enroll the students in under-graduate courses based on the merit list. However due to lack of internet connectivity and heavy rains in the mountainous regions, the college management has extended the registration date to September 24, he added.
He further said that students who have been admitted can anticipate updates regarding their classes. Students are expected to attend their classes and contact the respective department for any enquiries regarding their courses, he added.
The e-system in- charge Deependra Nigam said that the deadline for registration for the first-year students based on merit list has been extended to September 24. Individuals interested in securing admission to the college on the remaining seats may register by accessing the college website till the said date, he added.
