In view of the problems faced by the students due to heavy rain in the mountainous region and other States, the DAV (PG) College has extended the date of admission for the first year to August 5. The principal of the college KR Jain informed that students who had cleared the Central University Entrance Examination (CUET) can now enroll for admission in the college till August 5. He said the college has extended the admission date as per demands of student organisations along with the problem caused by heavy rains to students arriving at the college from different States.
Jain further informed that students can complete the admission process at the college between 10:30 AM and 1 PM. Concerning the admission process, admission coordinator RK Sharma informed that according to the first merit list, a total of 1,165 students have taken admission to the courses such as BSC, PCM, PMS, BCom and BA.. Additionally, he emphasised that the college has extended the admission date until Saturday. He further added that students whose names appeared in the first merit list must register themselves in the college by August 5
