Haridwar District Cooperative Bank Ltd took over the mortgaged property of the loan repayment defaulter Kamlesh Devi, wife of Rampal Singh, in Raisi on Wednesday. The bank officers said that a designated team had taken possession of the property under the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act 2002. They further said that the bank would continue to take action under the same act against the loan defaulters.
