Says that universities and colleges in the state would be opened on the basis of guidelines issued by the government of India
The state minister for higher education, Dhan Singh Rawat has directed that all universities and colleges should release their results before October 30.
The minister clarified that the universities and colleges in the state would be opened on the basis of guidelines issued by the government of India.
The minister gave these orders to the officials of the department during a meeting at his office in Vidhan Sabha. In the meeting the minister announced that on the occasion of the state foundation day, five teachers showing exceptional performance in different areas of higher education would be conferred with Dr Bhakt Darshan award. In the meeting deliberations on starting the new acadmic session, setting up new PG colleges and review of progress of construction works under the state sector and RUSA was made.
In the meeting the minister directed that network connectivity in all the government colleges should be ensured so that smooth online study could be facilitated. He disclosed that Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat would formally inaugurate online study in the colleges soon.
After the meeting the minister claimed that posts of Principals in all 105 colleges of the state have been filled and 92 percent posts of teachers are filled. He added that all posts of teachers would be filled after the start of the new session. Rawat said that the director of higher education has been directed to send requisition to recruit 350 posts of lecturers to the state public service commission.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Higher education Anand Vardhan, Advisor RUSA MMS Rawat, Professor K D Purohit, director ITDA Amit Sinha, higher education director Kumkum Rautela, Joint Director higher education MM Semwal and others.
