In latest news from Doon, the 1995 IPS cadre Deepam Seth has taken charge as the 13th director general of police, Uttarakhand following an order issued by the home secretary Sailesh Bagauli. He replaced 1996 batch IPS cadre Abhinav Kumar.
Seth is currently the director general of Sashstra Seema Bal. He had held several important posts in the police department in undivided Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
