Defection hit AAP undertakes expansion of organization in Uttarakhand
Appearing undeterred by defection of its top brass to the BJP, the state unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) carried out expansion of its organisation on Monday. It was its third expansion in recent days. In the expansion the party appointed D K Pal as its co convener and Rajesh Bisht as Vice President. The party also appointed Nitish Joshi as president of youth wing, Pankaj Arora as president of Transport wing and Shadab Alam as president of industrial wing. Apart from these appointments six organisational secretaries and ten state secretaries were included in the organisation.
Congratulating the newly appointed party functionaries the state convenor of AAP, Jot Singh Bisht said that it is a matter of great concern that the youth of the country are agitated and have hit the roads in protest against the Agnipath scheme for recruitment in the armed forces. He said that use of force on these agitated youngsters is akin to a jolt on democracy. Bisht said that the AAP appeals to the youth to refrain from violence and undertake a peaceful agitation on the issue.
