The Dehradun district magistrate Ashish Kumar Srivastava got vaccinated against Covid-19 disease on the first day of the second stage of the vaccination drive for the frontline workers in Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital on Monday.
The DM got vaccinated on the first day to strengthen the confidence of people regarding the safety and efficiency of the vaccine. Srivastava said that on the second stage of this vaccination drive, the health department aims to vaccinate about 15,000 frontline workers in the district within the next 10 days. He also appealed to frontline workers to get the vaccine shots within the given time period asserting that the Covid-19 vaccine is completely safe.
