Dehradun police seizes imported liquor worth Rs 25 lakh ahead of civic elections

In a major crackdown ahead of the upcoming municipal elections, Dehradun police seized a large cache of imported liquor valued at approximately Rs 25 lakh.

The police raided a flat in Rajpur and recovered 16 cartons containing a total of 181 bottles of imported liquor, some of which were marked for sale in Haryana, the Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh said.

The raid was conducted the SSP received a tip off about an illegal liquor warehouse in Rajpur area.
