Delhi resident files land fraud complaint in Kotwali PS
Accused some land registry office employees of aiding the fraud

In latest Uttarakhand news, with land registry frauds committed in connivance with a section of the registration office employees/officers going on unabated in the State, a Delhi-based resident Abhishek Bhalla filed a complaint at the Kotwali police station, alleging that a man in collusion with some land registry officers had fraudulently sold a part of land in Ayarpatta area of Nainital owned by his mother Renu Bhalla and had it registered in the name of the purchaser.
Police informed that as per the complaint, Renu Balla had purchased 301 sq m of land in Ayarpatta area in 1996. The accused identified as Atul Sharma, resident of Ramnagar, had allegedly sold a part of this land to one Dinesh Kundra, a Kashipur resident, and had it registered in the latter’s name by fraudulent means. Police, investigating the case, further informed that according to the complainant, Kundra had cut the railings of their house and had boundary walls built, blocking their way of entry. The SSI Kotwali Deepak Singh Bisht said that based on the complaint, police have registered a case against the accused duo Atul Sharma and Dinesh Kundra under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, adding that the complaint is being investigated into.
