The State meteorological centre has issued a warning regarding the possibility of dense fog in some parts of the plains on Tuesday. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts today. According to the meteorological centre, dense fog is likely to occur in some parts of Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts along with plains in the adjoining areas of the State especially during the morning hours on Tuesday.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear sky with mist/fog likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 21 degrees Celsius and six degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Monday were 20.6 degrees Celsius and 6.3 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 18.5 degrees Celsius and 9.4 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 10.1 degrees Celsius and 1.6 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 12.1 degrees Celsius and three degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
