Terming the review meetings of different departments convened by chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat as farce and a failed attempt to hide things, the spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni has said that these meetings are actually being conducted to resolve disputes. In a statement she said that the review of the departments is done to access the performance but in Uttarakhand no work has been done. She said that in the last three and half years no coordination between the ministers and the chief minister and between ministers and secretaries was witnessed.
The people of Uttarakhand are facing hardships due to lack of this coordination at top level. Dasauni said that the government of the overwhelming majority has proved to be a failure on every front. “If the CM Rawat is really serious about reviewing the departments he should take a look at the allegation made by the opposition. This would give him a better idea about the direction in which his government is moving. The people of the state have understood the reality of the government and now it would not get impressed by the hollow talks of CM,’’ she said.
