Lauding the budget tabled in the Assembly on Wednesday, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the budget is balanced, inclusive and one which reaches every section of the society. Interacting with the media persons on Wednesday Dhami said that the budget is based on the ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayas’ concept mooted by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the budget reflects the commitment of the State government for making a strong Uttarakhand. “A special thrust in the budget is made for infrastructure development and it also focuses on agriculture, horticulture, rural development, health and tourism. Special care of the youngsters has been taken and stress has been laid on employment and self employment opportunities,’’ he said.
The CM said that development of Uttarakhand is the central idea on which this budget has been prepared. He added that inspiration has been taken from the Union budget and effort has been made to include its different aspects in the budget document. The CM said that a clear vision and serious introspection on development reflects in the budget of the State. He said that Uttarakhand is surging forward as a powerful economy. The CM said that a surplus of Rs 4,309 crore reflects efficient financial management of the State government.
