In latest news from Doon, the Uttarakhand director general of police Abhinav Kumar has constituted a four-member committee led by the additional director general of police to firm up criteria by which performance of the police officers is to be evaluated impartially which would help the correct annual confidential reports (ACR) being prepared. This is meant to protect police officers from being impacted by biasedly made ACRs in their careers, said a police officer privy to details.
