DGP orders heightened security at rail stations for Yatra

In latest news from Doon, the State director general of police (DGP) Abhinav Kumar ordered security at the railway stations across the State be strengthened in view of the pilgrim influx for Char Dham Yatra. Notably, there are 36 railway stations across the State and through them 172 trains pass daily. DGP directed the public address system to be used in dealing with rumours. If a pilgrim gets injured he or she must be provided with first aids, DGP said and added that those seriously injured must be transported to the nearest hospitals. He further ordered that if any incident happens, the incident and the place of its happening must be videographed.
