Rajya Sabha MP and the national media in-charge of Bharatiya Janata Party, Anil Baluni has said that under the leadership of Pushkar Singh Dhami, the BJP broke the trend of the ruling party always ending up on the losing side in the assembly elections in Uttarakhand. Interacting with the media persons after the election of Dhami as the leader of BJP legislature party Baluni who was also in contention for the post of the CM of the state said that the BJP had entered the assembly elections with the slogan of young leadership and Dhami led the party with remarkable energy. He said that the BJP has decided to make Uttarakhand one of the best states in the country.
Senior BJP leader and the MLA from Vikasnagar assembly, Munna Singh Chauhan said that the central leadership of BJP has reposed its faith in the young leadership of Pushkar Singh Dhami. He said that under Dhami BJP scored a remarkable victory in the assembly elections. Chauhan said although Dhami lost from his constituency but this cannot snatch the credit from Dhami.
