In latest news from Doon, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the entire cabinet would soon embark on Ayodhya Ram Mandir Yatra to have darshan of Ram Lalla after the temple’s ritualistic consecration. He said that though they had earlier fixed February 2 as the date of the pilgrimage they had to defer the date in view of the heavy influx of the people. The new date would be announced soon, he said.
Queried about the decision to hold the budget session in Dehradun instead of Gairsain, the CM said that the decision had been taken in deference to the wish of all the political parties and MLAs across the political spectrum. “Some of the MLAs are sick and so they preferred the session being held in Dehradun,” he added.
